Lincoln Road Clock Tower artwork, for National Citizens Service

Autumn 2016

IMG_0045.JPG

I was kindly asked to provide artwork for four large panels on an old clock tower on Lincoln Road's Triangle. I met with the young people from NCS and they put together a brief for me by listing places and themes they'd like to see included in the murals. Then we all went out and nailed the artwork up on the freshly painted building. I'm very proud of the results and hope to be involved in further projects including fixing up the clock itself in 2017.

Below you can see the four panels in detail, then follows photos of the clock tower itself along with the young people and I putting the artwork up.

Nailing the final board.

The Ferry Meadows board, complete with the little train and... tentacles.

Cathedral Square, the Guild Hall, St John's Church, The Green Backyard and some idiot pigeons.
